If our financial checks unfortunately indicate that a credit account cannot be offered at this time, we may ask for a proforma (up-front) payment before any works are started.
This is rare but can happen, for example, with a customer who is a new Limited Company with no credit history for us to base a financial decision on.
In these circumstances, and only after all avenues have been explored, we will always politely explain why credit cannot be offered. We at Kinlochs & Son Ltd will then make sure our customer understands when payments will be required for the project to commence and be completed on time.
